Understanding the World Today
http://gsociology.icaap.org
We have reports about global social, political, economic, demographic change, that are designed to be easy for anyone to understand. We have also compiled a number of data sets that should be useful for researchers, students or anyone else interested in global social change. We also link to many free on line data sets, research papers, websites on theory of change, sites that have information about specific countries, and much more.  I've also compiled many sources of data into sets of data, available in easy to use format, on my website.

Free Resources for Program Evaluation and Social Research Methods
http://gsociology.icaap.org/methods/
This site has our free basic guides to program evaluation and research methods, and links to many websites about evaluation and research methods, with manual, guides, handouts, on line books, about how to do surveys, interviews, data analysis, how to write reports, and links to free software.

I'm hoping that the sites may be useful for students. In particular, the first site has reports about global social trends, and these should be easy to understand by anyone, young or old, so they can graphically see world trends. The second has some basic guides to evaluation which may be more useful to older students.
